Goldman will reportedly offer CME Group Bitcoin futures for its clients, marking another expansion of its recently established cryptocurrency trading desk. The move comes on the heels of an earlier announcement from the bank regarding the debut of Ether (ETH) futures and options.

For Vanderwilt, the fact that Goldman offers BTC futures trading will help bring more institutional investors into the crypto investment space which, according to the Galaxy executive, will help reduce price volatility.

The executive also commented that the move would serve as an example for other Wall Street banks that exposure to cryptocurrencies is possible.

In fact, as Cointelegraph previously reported, the demand for cryptocurrency exposure appears to be growing on Wall Street and some banks recently announced plans to set up trading desks for the new asset class.
